Aurora Rising has been a book on my radar since its release. I actually even had it on my shelf the day it released, haha. Except it took me a year to read (oops!), haha. I read and reviewed Lifel1k3 quite some time ago, but didn’t take the time to read the sequel, Dev1at3. Before I started I did a reread of Lifel1k3 and then dived right into Dev1at3. All I can say before starting my review is saying that I’m very happy I decided to wait. After that ending, I need the third and final book. But first, let’s talk about Dev1at3!
We’ve both wanted to read Nevernight for quite some time, but just hadn’t taken the time to do so. A buddyread got us going. It’s perfect timing as well, because Darkdawn releases in September. Nevernight is a hyped book, so we were curious if it would live up to our expectations. If you want to see if it did, keep on reading!

Jay Kristoff is an author I hear a lot about online in the bookish community. So far, I have only read The Illuminae Files that he wrote together with Amie Kaufman. His book Lifel1k3 has been something I want to read for quite awhile, so when I had the chance to buddyread it with a few people, I signed up!
