Do you ever just not know what to post about? Normally I have tons of ideas floating around my mind for these bookish items. Today I don’t have the lightbulb lighting for me. So I decide to participate in Book Beginning on Fridays. This meme was created by Rose City Reader.
The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often I will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time.

Last week Candyce showed her predicted 5 star reads for the last three months this year. I have seen so many Booktube videos for 5 star predictions and love to watch them. So obviously I wanted to join in on the fun haha! Candyce did a great twist on it in my opinion and I’m just going to follow her lead. Let’s take a look at two anticipated releases per month for October, November and December I think will be 5 star reads for me. Every month we do an anticipated releases post, but I decided to do something with that today. We only have three months in the year left (including October), so I decided to look at the releases I want. For every month I will take two books that are predicted 5 star reads.
When I read these, which will hopefully be before the end of the year (or as I get them, haha), I will look back at this and see if I was right!
I was trying to think of something to do for a bookish item this week when I saw a post about Goodreads Recommendations over at In Love & Words. I already do a Down the TBR Hole once a month and I think this will kind of help me do the opposite, haha. I’m curious to see what Goodreads will recommend to me.
Fall is coming and during this lovely season I love to read mystery/thriller stories. Because I read both a lot of YA and Adult mystery/thrillers I figured I would just stick to YA mystery/thriller novels today. These aren’t all the YA mystery/thrillers I read but a couple of the ones I enjoyed the best. Most of them are contemporary but one or two might not be… Let’s get into it! As you all may know, I was in London last week! I enjoyed it so so much, we had the most wonderful time.
