I love mermaids and I have noticed more and more books are being released about them. So when I saw this book and had the chance to review, I knew I needed to take this chance. Did the author create a unique mermaid story?
Review|I Hate Everyone But You – Gaby Dunn & Allison Raskin
I started this book in November, but between working, the holidays, review book and buddy reads this one kept getting put away. The description sounded like something I would love. Best friends who end up going to college on the opposite sides of the country, keep in touch with e-mails and texts. This sounds like a unique way to tell a story. I finally finished it this week, so I can finally tell you guys what I thought of this book.

Today is a busy day on the blog and I get to end that day with a new cover reveal. Corinne Michaels is a pretty well known romance author and I have been wanting to read one of her books for a long time. I read about her new standalone coming out and wanted to help out with the cover reveal, because this book sounds so good. This cover reveal even has a giveaway (not hosted by me). To take a look at the cover for One Last Time, keep reading!

Bookish Item|People on Book Covers
Even though in the end it’s about the story, book covers can play an important role. They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but if you know nothing about a book it can influence you. I have had definite cover buys, haha. So today I wanted to talk a little bit about what I think when there are people on the cover of a book.
Review|Begin Again Anthology Part 1
I received this book to review and while these short stories aren’t easy to read, I want to support the cause. Suicide and mental illness are still subjects that aren’t easily talked about and people are afraid of what people may think about them. These are some things that I have experienced in my family, so for me it’s even more important that people feel that they can talk to someone when they need to! This anthology has 21 short stories, so I will be posting a review of a few of them every week for the next few weeks!
*WARNING* This book can have triggers for people. It discusses suicide and other mental illnesses and I can completely understand that this book won’t be for everyone!
Tag | Creatures of the Night tag
Melissa tagged me for this one ages ago! While deciding what tag to do for today I remembered this tag. For every creature of the night you have to come up with a favourite. Curious to see which characters I chose for which creatures? Keep on reading!

Review| Tuesdays at Six – K.J. Lewis
I read about this book on Facebook, with the opportunity to sign up and help promote this book. Besides that, I received an ARC to review on release day. All I can say is I’m very happy I decided to sign up or really even saw this on Facebook. This isn’t a book I would’ve wanted to miss. Tuesdays at Six is going to be the book that has to be beat this year. If I could give it more than five stars I would!
TTT #9 |Books I Meant To Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To (And Totally Will In 2018!!)
We have been having fun with these Top Ten Tuesdays, so we decide we will do one every week. This bookish meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! This will be changing January 16th. Starting then we will find the Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week is all about the books I meant to read in 2017 but didn’t get to – and I totally plan on reading in 2018 😉 – Let’s take a look at those 10 books! I picked all 2017 (except 1) releases I already own.
