After reading My Lady Jane at the beginning of this year, I have been wanting to read more historical fiction. Seeing the sign up for this book, I saw it as a sign to read more. I have seen this book mentioned a few times online and so far I have loved most of the books I have read from Swoon Reads. After reading This Savage Song I was happy that I already owned Our Dark Duet. The first book sucked me right into that world and I needed more. Our Dark Duet was also amazing and I want more. This is a book I couldn’t stop thinking about after I was all done reading it. There were so many emotions!
Recently I’ve been reading a lot of comics and manga’s and I’ve been enjoying myself a lot. I read them quite quickly but there can still be so much story packed in those thin books. Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story, and I found it over at Howling Libraries. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. Last time I did 10 books at a time and I think I will stick to that. Since my last Down the TBR Hole, my TBR on Goodreads has gotten bigger again, haha. Let’s see what books I will keep this week!
This duology has been on my shelf for quite some time now (like a lot of other books, haha). I had heard a lot of amazing things about them from friends and Isabelle has already read them as well. So after another friend started them and a Facebook group I am in (TBR and Beyond) were going to do a group read, I just had to join! The only regret I have is not reading this book sooner! It was so good!

As a book lover I come across quotes that stick with me. Some sentences are either really impressive or are relatable. I’ve been thinking about an item like this for awhile. This will be an item that comes back more frequently I think. There are a lot of bookish quotes that I love.
