Bookish Item | 2020 Reading Goals
With the new year almost here it’s time for our 2020 Reading Goals! We set some reading goals last year as well, and you can expect a wrap-up on those early January. For quite some years now we’ve been setting Goodreads goals but the last couple of years we’ve also tried to set some additional reading goals. So let’s take a look at the goals we set ourselves for 2020. Continue reading “Bookish Item | 2020 Reading Goals”
Tag| The Harry Potter Christmas Tag
Technically yesterday was Christmas, but here in The Netherlands we have a second day. I figured I would squeeze in just one more Christmas tag for the year with the The Harry Potter Christmas Tag. I just couldn’t resist.
I saw this tag on For Books Sake, but it was originally created by Charleigh Writes. Let’s take a look at this Harry Potter tag.

TTT #111 | Books I Hope To Find Under The Christmas Tree
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books I Hope To Find Under The Christmas Tree. I already shared my Christmas Wishlist for the Book Swap I’m participating in, and my wishlist for the swap Candyce and I are doing with our friend. We’re doing just a couple of presents with the family and I didn’t want to ask just books. Nevertheless, these are 10 books I would love to find under the Christmas tree tomorrow morning. Royal Update #4
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
Down the TBR Hole #24
Seeing how I keep adding new books to my Goodreads TBR, I decided to did this just a little more often than I have before. It’s been about two weeks since my last Down the TBR Hole and I’ve added 3 books to my want-to-read shelf. That isn’t much, but with Christmas only a few days away, I thought it was good to try to get a rid of a few more titles!
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started! Continue reading “Down the TBR Hole #24”
Mini Review| Spark and Sorrow – Rachel A. Marks
Fire & Bone is such a good book and I’ve been waiting for more in this series. The author recently gave us a short story/prequel, Spark and Sorrow, and it did not disappoint. Today I want to tell you about this short story! A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review | Deadly Little Scandals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes
One of my favorite reads of last year was Little White Lies by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Jennifer is one of my favorite and most read YA authors so as pretty soon after the sequel was released I picked it up. I love YA mysteries and I had high hopes for this one. So let’s see if it lived up to my expectations! Continue reading “Review | Deadly Little Scandals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes”
Bookish Item | Book Beginnings on Friday: Foul is Fair – Hannah Capin
It’s been a month since our last Book Beginnings on Friday and I thought I would give it another go! This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often we will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time. Today’s book is Foul is Fairby HannahCapin.
