Christmas is here! Merry Christmas to everyone that celebrates. I figured with it being Christmas I would talk about a holiday themed book. Today I want to talk about The Holiday Swap. Keep on reading to find out more about this book and what I thought.

Fangirl Friday | Christmas Movies I’m Rewatching This Christmas

I’m not really a fan of movies in general. Whenever I get the choice, I’d much rather watch a tv show. But every now and then I do enjoy a movie. And around Christmas time it is fun to watch some Christmas movies. So for this Christmas, I decided to rewatch a couple of my favorites! And today I want to share which ones that’ll be. Let’s jump in!

Tag | Christmas Character Book Tag

It’s two days until Christmas (even though this is still really hard to believe), so I had to take the opportunity and do one more Christmas related book tag. I saw the Christmas Character Book Tag on And On She Reads‘ blog and decided to tag myself. This tag was created by Keep Reading Forward. Let’s check it out!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Four Aunties and a Wedding – Jesse Q. Sutanto

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

TTT #216 | Books I Hope Santa Brings

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Hope Santa Brings. Of course I always have some books on my wishlist so here are 10 books I hope Santa brings me. I do know I will be getting a couple of these but which ones those are is a secret until Christmas Eve!  Continue reading “TTT #216 | Books I Hope Santa Brings”

5 On My TBR | Planned to Read in 2021

Besides my Netgalley backlist posts I also try and track my physical TBR. That’s not always an easy task. There are so many books I want to read, but just not enough time. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is snow, but I’m not feeling that one this week. So I’m doing next week’s topic which is planned to read in 2021. There are many books I didn’t get to, but there are 5 of them I was really excited about. I’ll try to avoid the books I’ve talked about frequently on the blog.

Down the TBR Hole #69

It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve written a Down the TBR Hole post, but it’s actually only been two weeks. The way time goes is weird at times, haha. With my Goodreads TBR still being so high I’m definitely going to stick to doing these posts regularly.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | The Love Hypothesis – Laura Steven

The Love Hypothesis was one of the books I bought in Paris. And the one I read there right away. I adore Laura Steven as a person and loved her book The Exact Opposite of Okay. So of course I wanted to read The Love Hypothesis as well. And today I want to share my thoughts on this story with you all. So let’s jump in!

Bookish Item | Authors I Want to Try in 2022

In 2021 I discovered quite a few new authors who had books I loved so much I want to read their whole backlist. I really love when that happens, but there are still quite a few authors who have books that sounds good and I want to give a try in 2022. Today I want to talk about a few of those authors. Keep on reading to find out more!
