We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

While we go back into lockdown, I did have a couple of wonderful days. Last week we had a Christmas breakfast at school instead of the yearly dinner. We were expecting a lockdown and didn’t want the kids to miss out again. It was great seeing them all so happy and enthusiastic, I was very glad we were able to organise this.

Last weekend I went to Aachen with my best friend. We went to the Christmas market there. I was really weird being in a place where there is a lot allowed (but with stricter COVID rules…). But I loved every second of it. We had a lot of fun and I’m glad we took the time to do this together. Makes going into another lockdown a tiny bit easier…

Still no new ARC’s. And that is more than okay haha.

I finished The Great Hunt, the Mystic School for Musicraft and Camp Cacophony. And I’m very happy with that! Currently I’m reading If This Gets Out. And like I said before, next will be The Last Graduate and Come Out and Play. I really hope I can finish both before the end of the year.

I did some Christmas shopping but other than that there isn’t much I can share on here!

I watched The Unforgivable on Netflix and that was so incredibly good! Sandra Bullock is phenomenal and I would highly recommend it to everyone. I also watched my regular weekly shows like Nancy Drew, Wheel of Time, and 9-1-1. Cliffhangers galore!!

Lately I’ve been listening to the playlist I made throughout the year. After every birthday I make a new playlist and I add all the songs that are meaningful at that moment, I’m obsessed with, want to listen to over again or whatever reason I find to add them to the playlist haha. And I listen to that playlist a lot. Some weeks its all I listen to. These past two weeks were like that. There are also a lot of Dutch songs on the list, so do with it what you will haha.
