Okay, so I know it’s weird to post a review about a Christmas book on Halloween, but I just couldn’t resist this book! Christina Lauren is an author duo I really enjoy and I needed a book full of holiday spirit. One that leaves you warm and fuzzy on the inside when you read the last page. Did In a Holidaze meet my expectations? Keep on reading to find out!
As a big fan of Christmas, I’m happy with any book that involves Christmas. I can read them any time of the year (even though I read more closer to the holidays). When I read about The Trouble with Christmas, I was very excited. This book has me getting excited for the holidays! Today I want to tell you what I thought about this book and there’s also a little excerpt.
A big thanks to Entangled Publishing and Social Butterfly PR for providing me with an ARC to read and review.
The first bookhaul of 2019! It is insane how fast the year has gone by but here we are, January 1st of 2019. The December month is big for presents so we both acquired quite some new books! We already talked about some of these books, so we’ll try to be quick about those. And now, let’s take a look at our new books in our December bookhaul. Continue reading “Bookhaul | December”
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s prompt is Books I Hope I Find Under the Christmas Tree This Morning. Aaaah there are so many books on my wishlists. And I have at least 4 different wishlists haha. The books mentioned today are on wishlists for my family, for Candyce, and for my Secret Santa Swap. While writing this, I don’t have a clue on which books I’ll receive yet 🙂 Continue reading “TTT #59 | Books I Hope I Find Under The Christmas Tree This Morning”
Last week Candyce and I met up with our bookish friends so celebrate ‘Sintekerst’ together. Sintekerst? I hear you ask, yes, you read that right haha. It’s a mashup from Christmas (Kerst in Dutch) and our Dutch holiday Sint Nicolaas. We exchanged presents after we went out for a lovely dinner. Last year we did this as well and on the way home we were surprised by a ton of snow. And of course this year the weather forecast said there was going to be snow again! Luckily the weather wasn’t too bad and we got a change to exchange our presents. Excited to see what we got? Keep on reading! Continue reading “Unboxing | Sintekerst”
I was planning to do another tag today but I came across this tag at the TBR and Beyond blog. It looked like a lot of fun and I saw that Melanie tagged Candyce to do this one anyways, so I decided to snag it haha. So today we’re doing the Bookish Naughty or Nice tag and we’ll see if I’m on Santa’s naughty or nice list. And to be honest, I’m scared this is going to complete wrong direction haha! Here we go! Continue reading “Tag | Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag”
As massive Harry Potter fans we obviously need to participate in a Magical Readathon! Isabelle already participated in the O.W.L.s readathon earlier this year and that was so much fun. G from Book Roast has been hosting these Harry Potter themed Magical Readathons and for this Holiday season we’re getting the Christmas at Hogwarts edition <3 We can’t wait to participate and today we want to show our possible TBR’s. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Magical Readathon”
I know it’s just the start of October, but it’s never too early for holiday reads. So even though I’m reading some darker books, I took time to read The Forever Christmas Tree. I love holiday books and read a lot of them in December. Did this one live up to my expectations? Make sure to read until the end for an excerpt of this book as well!
Yes, I know it’s the end of July and we’re not even close to Christmas, but with this heat lately I need to think of something cold. Other than that I love Christmas. So today I am here to help share the cover reveal for Christmas With You.
