I only work a total of four days in September, and I’ve been trying to think of a reading challenge for myself. Last year I did 30 books in 30 days. I was thinking about that again, but I’ve already accomplished that a few times on my own this year.
If you’ve read my TBRs, you know I host a series slayers read with a friend, and finishing series is always a goal for me. So I’ve decided to also try and do more of this during my time off. So I’ll be trying to slay some series in September.
Right before the summer break I got my favorite question ever from my coworker/friend. He asked me if I had any book recommendations. And of course I came in with a LONG list of books I thought he might enjoy haha. Another coworker also asked for the list and today I wanted to share which books of that list they have been reading. We do have some plans, but I’ll definitely have some extra reading time! So let’s see what some of the books will be that I plan on reading next month.
In the past week or so I have gone back to reading fanfiction. I saw some TikToks (who’s surprised haha) and got excited about them and immediately had to put them on my Kindle. So in April I did a post where my TBR cards chose my next 4 reads. I just looked at that post and I’ve only read one of them so far, haha. I thought it would be fun to do this again, but choose some of my eARCs this time. I’m trying to increase my Netgalley ratio, so this is a fun way to get some of them read. Keep on reading to see what cards and books are picked!

I can’t believe it’s already August and I have yet to give an update on my reading goals! Candyce already shared her update last month, and today it’s my turn. I’m definitely becoming a broken record, but 2024 is flying by! I can’t believe I’m already thinking about my August TBR. So let’s see what books I’m hoping to read next month.
