I can’t believe it’s already August and I have yet to give an update on my reading goals! Candyce already shared her update last month, and today it’s my turn. I tried to set 5 attainable goals for myself, so let’s see if I’m on my way to actually reach them.

Goodreads Challenge
52 books

I’m actually doing great on this one! As I’m writing this I have already read 70 books. So I have managed to reach this goal about half way through the year. I will try and read as many books as I can this year and it’s nice to see I’m getting more towards my goals from a couple of years ago.

Netgalley Feedback Ratio
50%

This is not going well at all. I started the year at 43% and somehow it’s currently 42%. So it’s getting worse haha. Someday I will get that feedback ratio up, but I guess this year is not that time haha. I have a couple more months to at least get back to my ratio from the start of the year.

Physical TBR
24 books

I hoped to read at least 24 books from my physical TBR. Now, I didn’t specify if it had to be books I owned before the year started or if I should also count books I bought and read this year. So far I’ve read 10 books I already owned and 32 books I got this year. You could say I have reached this goal with 42 books, but I would like to try and read a couple more books that I already owned.

Big Books
12 big books

Yay! I just checked and I’ve read 4 books in the 500-599 range, 5 in 600-699, 2 in 800-899 and 1 in 900-999. That makes a total of 12 big books! So I’ve also managed to reach this goal. It’ll be interesting to see how many big books I will have managed to read by the end of the year.

Finish Series
6 series

This seems to be one of the hardest goals for me to reach every single year haha. But, so far I have actually finished 4 series! I think this is the closest I’ve ever been to reaching this goal. Just two more series to finish and I will reach this. Can I do it before the end of the year?
