How I Met My Book #12| The Naturals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

We were looking for something to post on Sundays when we don’t have anything planned. Then I saw a post on Early Bookish Bird‘s blog and it seemed like the perfect fit. She started #howimetmybook so we’re alternating between #howimetmybook and Down the TBR hole on Sundays from now on! Today I will be posting about how I met The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

In this post we tell the story behind our books. The following questions will be answered: Where did we get the book? Why did we pick it up? What made us pick it up in the first place?

Tag | An Ember in the Ashes Booktag

I love watching booktube videos on YouTube and about a week or two ago I watched a fun video by one of my favorite booktubers: Super Space Chick. She created the An Ember in the Ashes Booktag and I thought it would be fun to do that one today. I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and I’m excited for the third book to come out. The questions in this tag are not ones I’ve seen in many other tags so I’m excited to do this! Let’s get started. Continue reading “Tag | An Ember in the Ashes Booktag”

Blog Tour| The Wright Love – K.A. Linde

Last year when I read The Wright Secret, I really hoped Sutton would get a happily ever after. She was grieving the loss of her husband and it was hard seeing her family so happy. K.A. Linde gave us what we asked for though. Sutton is getting two books! The first one The Wright Love was released yesterday. I read it an loved it. Today I’m participating in the blog tour.

TTT #27| Books I Disliked/Hated But Am Really Glad I Read

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Disliked/Hated But Am Really Glad I Read and this is honestly IMPOSSIBLE for me haha. I don’t read that many books that I don’t like and I think there are hardly any that I’m still glad I read. Soooo what will we be doing today? I wanted to just start the list and say how far we would come but I only found 2 books…. Not so great… I decided to completely turn this around and go for 10 books I think I will rate 5 stars. So this is more like the challenge of 5 star predictions. Lets take a look at what I think those books will be. Continue reading “TTT #27| Books I Disliked/Hated But Am Really Glad I Read”

Down the TBR Hole #6

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story, and I found it over at Howling Libraries. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review| Three Summers – S.J. Sylvis

Three Summers is S.J. Silvis’ debut book. I don’t remember how I stumbled upon her on Instagram, but I did. Not too long ago she was asking for bloggers to sign up for her book, Three Summers. The sypnosis sounded amazing, so it didn’t take long for me to decide to sign up. Her book didn’t disappoint! I can’t wait to read more by this author.
