TTT #32| Books to Read at the Beach

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is Books to Read at the Beach. When this post comes online, I will be at a cabin near a little beach. Hopefully I will be reading one of the books on this list. Besides books to read at the beach, it’s a little summer TBR. I hope to read at least a few of these this summer.

How I Met My Book #14| Archie Volume 1: The New Riverdale – Mark Waid

We were looking for something to post on Sundays when we don’t have anything planned. Then I saw a post on Early Bookish Bird‘s blog and it seemed like the perfect fit. She started #howimetmybook so we’re alternating between #howimetmybook and Down the TBR hole on Sundays from now on! Today I will be posting about how I met Archie Volume 1: The New Riverdale by Mark Waid.

In this post we tell the story behind our books. The following questions will be answered: Where did we get the book? Why did we pick it up? What made us pick it up in the first place?

Bookish Item| Books to Pack for Vacation

Getting away for a week is always a wonderful thing, but I think most bookworms will recognize my problem. Figuring out what books to pack for vacation. This afternoon I am off to a cottage with my boyfriend for a week. We will be close to a little beach, so what will I be doing while there? Right, reading! Of course I will bring my e-reader, but I love bringing a few physical books as well. After thinking about it for awhile, I have decided to bring these books!

Tag | Most Popular Books On My TBR

So this isn’t really a tag but I saw it over at Destiny’s blog Howlinglibraries and thought it would be fun to do as well! We’re going to look at the most popular books on my TBR. The idea is super simple, you go to your Goodreads want-to-read shelf, sort the books by number of ratings and look at the first 10 (or 20). I decided to pick my own-tbr shelf, that’s my shelf on Goodreads for books I already own but have yet to read. So these books are on my actual TBR. I also decided to take a look at the 10 highest rated books on my TBR and if there was much overlap. So let’s take a look at the most popular books on my TBR.
