Last week I was adding a bunch of reviews I had posted on the blog to Goodreads. Apparently I’m not as good with keeping up with my GR as I thought I was haha. While talking with some friends, I also realized I have way too many books on my want to read shelf. So I decided to take a serious look at that shelf and get rid of a bunch of books. Sawyer Bennett is an author I’ve come to love for romance books. She writes different things like Dax (a hockey romance) and Gimme Some Sugar (a bit cleaner/sweet romance). Having enjoyed both, I was really curious about the Wicked Horse Vegas series.

Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read almost all of her books. About five years ago I read The Dark Elements, but only had them as e-books. I personally didn’t like the covers at all! This year they all got a cover change before the first book in the spin-off series was released.
I knew I needed these covers and felt that a reread was a good start before diving into the spin-off. White Hot Kiss is the first book in this trilogy and today I want to tell you what I thought about this book!

This week I’m participating in an Adult Readathon and I’ve already read 3 adult books! And one of those book was Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t planning on reading it, but the audiobook is on Storytel so I decided to go for it. And surprisingly I enjoyed it a lot! The book is about a fictional band and music is the most important ingredient in the book. So while reading it, I was wishing for the music to be real haha.
