We’re about halfway through April and I’ve started thinking about what I want to read next month. I’m still not sure how that’s possible, but this year is flying by again. So let’s take a look at my May TBR. I’m writing this post a bit earlier in the month, so I’m sure more books will be added once May comes around.
Even though we’re only about halfway through April, I decided I want to talk about what middle grade books I want to read in May. Each year we do a middle grade May readathon in the TBR and Beyond Facebook group I help moderate. It’s a fun time each year and here is my TBR. Let’s take a look!

So it’s that time of month where I decide to look at the books I want to read next month. I know this is something I tend to say every month, but how is it already April?!? So before talking about my TBR, I will say that I probably won’t read all of these, but I love talking about the books I’m excited about reading.
So last week I posted the next post in my Bookstagram Chooses My Next 4 Reads post. Now that I have 6 posts with this theme, I decided to take a look back at these picks. I’ve read more than I actually expected (part 2 is the only installment that doesn’t have any books read so far). I also wont’ be discussing part 6, because I just posted that last week.
I won’t be reviewing the books, but this TBR update is to see how successful these posts are. I want to see if I end up actually liking what’s picked for me. So after tomorrow, my vacation starts! I have two weeks off and we don’t have a lot planned. Well we have a few outings we want to do and it’s my birthday and we’re going out to dinner for that. It’ll mostly be a staycation and time to charge out batteries.
I already wrote a TBR for March, but there are a few other books I’m really hoping to read during my time off of work. Let’s talk about them now!
