Bookish Item| 2025 Releases I Have eARCs Of

There’s about a month and a half left of 2024 and I can already tell you that 2025 is going to be another year filled with amazing books. I’ve been lucky to already be approved for an eARC for some of these releases. Let’s take a look!

A Sea of Unspoken Things – Adrienne Young (January 7th)

Spells For Forgetting was a book I loved. Contemporary or mysteries with a bit of magical realism are something I love. At the moment, I’ve also read about 30% of The Unmaking of June Farrow, so when I saw A Sea of Unspoken Things up for request, I couldn’t resist. In A Sea of Unspoken Things a woman investigates her brother’s mysterious death. I’m so excited to read this!

Better Than Revenge – Kasie West (January 7th)

Kasie West writes fun young adult contemporary romances, and Better Than Revenge sounds like a book right up my alley. Even though I don’t listen to podcasts myself, I love when they’re involved in books in any way. I have a feeling I’ll fly through Better Than Revenge.

Love on Paper – Danielle Parker (January 21st)

Besides podcasts, I also love when characters in books want to write books. Will love be found at an exclusive writers’ retreat? I have a feeling it will be in Love on Paper. Also, the fact that previous writers seem to leave Easter eggs for the next group, sounds like we’re going to get a little mystery as well.

While We’re Young – K.L. Walther (March 4th)

This year I’ve read two books by K.L. Walther (The Summer of Broken Rules & What Happens After Midnight) and I really enjoyed them. I have Meant to Be on my shelves that I plan on reading soon. So I was excited to have early access to Walther’s next release, While We’re Young. This one is about an epic senior skip day. It’s going to be an interesting one I think.

Promise Me Sunshine – Cara Bastone (March 4th)

Ready or Not was one of my favorite books this year, so Promise Me Sunshine was another one I couldn’t resist requesting! A woman grieving the loss of her best friend meets a grumpy stranger who swears her can help her live again. This is definitely going to be a very emotional one, but I can’t wait to dive in.

So here are five 2025 releases I already have eARCs of, and I’m really excited about. Are any of these on your radar? Or are there any 2025 releases you can’t wait to get your hands on? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
