Being in the bookish community I’m always running into authors that I’ve never heard about. I try and read some new authors every month, even though I tend to do so without even thinking about it. Today I want to talk about some new to me authors I’m hoping to read from soon. Let’s take a look!

Kels & Denise Stone

On Instagram and Facebook I recently saw people talking about Close Knit. This is the newest release from Kels & Denise Stone. I can never pass up a sports romance. Add in the grumpy/sunshine trope and the fact that the FMC is a knitting influencer (never read about one of those before), and I was sold!

Coco Mellors

I’ve heard great things about Coco’s book Cleopatra and Frankenstein and about her newest release Blue Sisters. I enjoy stories about family and how complex they are. In Blue Sisters, three estranged siblings return to their family home after their sister dies. I have a feeling this is going to be an emotional read, but it sounds really good.

Callie Hart

Quicksilver has taken the bookish world by storm and has caught my eye. This fantasy romance has been very popular and was recently picked up by a traditional publisher. I’m not sure when I read this, because the second book has been delayed now that it will be traditionally published. I’m afraid for a possible cliffhanger, haha.

Liz Moore

The God of the Woods is a book I’ve seen everywhere since it released in July. I’m not sure I’ve ever read a literary thriller, but this one sounds really good. It seems like it’ll be a perfect rainy day read.
