Bookish Item | Books I’m Bringing On My Next Trip

Next Friday I’m going on a 5 day trip to France with 4 of my coworkers. We’re going snowboarding and skiing for the last week of the wintersport year, also know as Dutch Week here haha. So it’ll be both snowboarding and partying haha. I have no idea how I will handle it but of course I will be bringing some books. And these are the books I plan on bringing! Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Pairing – Casey McQuiston

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Pairing – Casey McQuiston”

TTT #336| Unread Books on My Shelves I Want to Read Soon Part 1

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is characters I’d like to go on vacation with. I’m never good at prompts like these and they honestly interest me less than other topics, so I decided to give next week’s topic a go. So here are 10 unread books on my shelves I want to read soon. Let’s take a look!

5 On My TBR | Title Starting with an ‘A’

As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is Title Starting with an ‘A’. I have no idea if I have any books on my shelves that fit this prompt, so it’s going to be interesting. Let’s just jump right in! Continue reading “5 On My TBR | Title Starting with an ‘A’”

Show Sunday | Haikyu the Anime

Since I love the Haikyu manga so much I of course also wanted to watch the anime. I wanted to be a bit further into the manga before starting the anime as I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to stop watching. Since I’m almost half way through the manga now, I figured it would be a good time to start. And today I wanted to share my thoughts on the first couple of episodes. So let’s jump in! Bookish Item| Middle Grade May TBR

Even though we’re only about halfway through April, I decided I want to talk about what middle grade books I want to read in May. Each year we do a middle grade May readathon in the TBR and Beyond Facebook group I help moderate. It’s a fun time each year and here is my TBR. Let’s take a look!

WWW Wednesday #59

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?
