Review| Every Breath You Take – Faith Andrews

Faith Andrews is an author I found when she was promoting her book The Hipster Chronicles. She is back with a duology and the first book is Every Breath You Take. I received an ARC from the author (thank you so much) to read and review. If you want to know what I thought of this book, keep on reading!

Review| Carnival Wishes – Daphne James Huff, M.F. Lorson & Kayla Tirrell

I read the three books in the Mountain Creek Drive trilogy by these three amazing authors. They takes place in the early 2000s. I loved them because they bring back so many memories of when I was a teenager. Now that have published Carnival Wishes, three short stories that focus on characters we meet in those three books.

You can find my reviews for the three books in the Mountain Creek Drive trilogy on the blog: Stage Kiss, Leah’s Song and Chasing Love.

Release Day Blitz & Blog Tour| The Perfect Duet – Meghan Quinn

The Perfect Duet by Meghan Quinn is now available. The Left Side of Perfect releases yesterday and The Right Side of Forever came out today. Lucky for us we didn’t have to wait a long time to get all of our questions answered. I love that Meghan Quinn released these two book right after the other. All authors should do this!

I do recommend reading The Blue Line Duet (The Upside of Falling & The Downside of Love) first. This duet will be so much better if you do! I understood the characters a lot better because of that.

Bookish Item| Book Beginnings on Fridays

Do you ever just not know what to post about? Normally I have tons of ideas floating around my mind for these bookish items. Today I don’t have the lightbulb lighting for me. So I decide to participate in Book Beginning on Fridays. This meme was created by Rose City Reader.

The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often I will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time.

Tag | Three Bookish Things

Normally I have a list of tags that I’m interested in. Life has been really busy though and I haven’t had much time to read other blogs. Once my work schedule slows down, except some comments and likes. So today I scrolled through the reader on WordPress and saw the Three Bookish Things tag. Red Rocket Panda posted this tag, so I decided to tag myself!

Another month is almost over and that means it’s time for a list of anticipated September releases. This year has been full of so many books that we both want, so it’s time to see what to expect this month. Is September dangerous for our bank accounts? Probably!

Isabelle is in London as I’m typing this, so these are all the books I can’t wait to see. Some may be missing that Isabelle is looking forward to!

TTT #42| Books at School

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a back to school freebie. As long as it has to do with school, it fits this week’s topic. I decided to talk about books at school. What books take place at school? Or where the characters are still students and a lot of time is spent at school. That can play a big part of a book!
