Blog Tour| Vampires of Moscow – Caedis Knight

Vampires of Moscow is a book I saw awhile ago on Twitter and people were talking about. When I read about it, I have to say I was curious. Not too long ago the authors were looking for some bloggers for the tour of this book and I just had to sign up. A big thanks to the authors for providing me with an e-arc to read and review.

Today I’m going to tell you about the book and what I thought and later today an interview with these authors will be posted, so keep an eye out! But first let’s talk about Vampires of Moscow!

Bookish Item| My Boyfriend Chose My TBR

Since we’ve been blogging I’ve seen different posts where bloggers let their boyfriends choose their TBR. I thought it was a fun idea, but never gave it a try. I saw another post recently and decided to give it a go. So here’s the first time my boyfriend chose my TBR. Let’s take a look!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | My Contrary Mary – Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

TTT #158 | Books I Loved But Never Reviewed Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Book Titles that Would Make Great Song Titles. I really like this topic, but I only managed to find 2 titles haha. So I decided to pick an older topic I really wanted to do. I went with Books I Loved But Never Reviewed, so let’s jump in. Continue reading “TTT #158 | Books I Loved But Never Reviewed Part 2”

Looking Back At Our Bookhauls | October 2019

We’re already past the first week of November. And that means it’s time to look back at our bookhaul from October 2019. Once again it’s going to be a bit scary to open that post again. We usually buy more books we want to read right away, without following through on that promise to our books haha. So let’s see if we managed to read these books in the past year in this month’s Looking Back at our Bookhauls! Continue reading “Looking Back At Our Bookhauls | October 2019”

Royal Update #48

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #48”

Blog Tour | Master of One – Jaida Jones & Dani Bennett

Both of us are always looking for new amazing fantasy books. Master of One is releasing in two days and we really hoped we would be able to add it to the list of amazing books. So when we saw the sign up for the tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours, we didn’t have to think long before signing up. We didn’t have time to finish the book, so a review will be up in the near future. Today we’ll tell you about the book. Keep on reading to find out more!

Down the TBR Hole #41

I don’t expect this Down the TBR Hole to be that exciting. I posted the last one two weeks ago. I’m typing this one a week later (I’m finally working ahead again, haha). So I don’t think I’ve added a lot of books since the last time. It’s still good to keep cleaning out my want-to-read shelf!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Candyce participated in the blogtour for The Inheritance Games a little while ago but I really wanted to share my thoughts as well. Jennifer Lynn Barnes is one of my favorite authors and I truly think she is underrated. Yes she has a extended backlist and a lot of people probably heard about her, but I don’t think nearly enough people actually read her books or in any case, not enough people talk about reading her books! So here’s my review on her newest book. Continue reading “Review | The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes”

Bookish Item | Netgalley Books I Need to Read (And Already Own)

Isabelle and I were talking recently about our Netgalley books. I still have to review so many and I’m failing terribly at my goal to get my feedback ratio to 80% this year. That’s when I started things about the books I’ve got on Netgalley and need to read. I already own a lot of these physically now as well. Let’s take a look at which ones have already appeared on my shelves before reading my e-arc! Hopefully this will motivate me to prioritize these.
