TTT #211| Books to Read If You Love Romantic Comedies

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books to Read if You Love X. So I decided to make this topic into Books to Read If You Love Romantic Comedies. I’m a big fan of them myself and love when books give me the same vibes as my favorite movies.

5 On My TBR | Family

It’s been a while since I’ve done a 5 On My TBR post, but I wanted to do another one. I keep track of my ARCs and other books, so it’s also fun to keep track of my physical TBR. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s prompt is family. And I have to say it was pretty hard! I love found family books but I tried to not look at those as that feels like a different prompt. Family isn’t always mentioned in the synopsis so some of these are a bit of a gamble haha. Continue reading “5 On My TBR | Family”

Show Sunday | New Fall 2021 Shows I’m Interested In

As you probably know by now, I’m always on the lookout for new tv-shows. Usually I do some research way in advance but this year I was very behind haha. I’m super busy and have a ton of shows to catch up with. But I still have a list of new fall shows I would love to try. So today I want to share 10 of them. I won’t talk about them that much because this post would be way too long if I did.

Bookish Item | Audio Dramas

I was debating what to call this bookish item for a while but I finally came across the term Audio Dramas. Another term I found was fiction podcasts. In short, it’s like listening to a tv show or to an audiobook with only dialogue and background noises. You listen to a podcast but it’s a fictional story. And I am hooked!! So today I wanted to talk about it! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Audio Dramas”

Can’t Wait Wednesday| Bitter – Akwaeke Emezi

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.
