Another month has passed, so it’s time to see if we actually read what we add to our shelves. What did we get in May 2025? And did we pick any of them up? Keep on reading this month’s looking back at our bookhauls to find out!
Down the TBR Hole #176
Even though the amount of books on my want to read shelf stayed the same as last time, I did have a 100% removal percentage last week. So will I be able to do the same this week?
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Bookish Item | Pride Month TBR
In honour of Pride Month I thought it would be fun to pick some queer books I would love to read this month. I haven’t been reading much, but these books have been on my want to read list and I figured I should make them a priority! So let’s take a look at the queer books I would love to read in June. Bookish Item| Christmas in July TBR
So I know summer is just starting here on this side of the world, but I’m someone who loves Christmas. Every year, I try and do a little Christmas in July reading. There are some 2025 holiday romances I still need to read as well as a few eARCs for 2026. Let’s take a look at my Christmas in July TBR for this year.
Bookish Item | Fanfiction
I’m back in my fanfic era! Somehow I can’t seem to finish a book again, but I have been diving back into fanfiction. I have gotten a ton of recommendations through TikTok and I thought it would be fun to share a couple of them with you all. These are all Heated Rivalry fanfics and I’m not ashamed to admit that haha. Let’s dive in! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Fanfiction”
Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Last King of Faerie – Cassandra Clare
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Last King of Faerie – Cassandra Clare”
Bookish Item| Kindle Unlimited TBR
It’s been a while since I’ve done a post like this, but I’ve recently stumbled upon some books on Kindle Unlimited that I’m excited about reading. So here’s a new Kindle Unlimited TBR. Hopefully I get to them soon! Let’s take a look.
Royal Update #322
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
Down the TBR Hole #175
I actually removed a book from my Goodreads TBR since my Down the TBR Hole post last week. It’s not much of a difference, but it’s still progress!

Review| Love on Ice – Sara Ney
In the past, I’ve read a few of Sara Ney’s adult romances before, so I was really curious to read her first YA sports romance. Today I want to tell you all about Love on Ice and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more!
A big thank you to Netgalley and Delacorte Romance for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way!
