We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

It’s been a while since my last Royal Update. I had to let go of my horse that I have had for over 20 years. So you might imagine my grief. I know it was the right decision for him, but I’m still really sad about it. Of course I also got sick, in one of the busiest periods at work (although like 60% of the year feels like the busiest period at work haha). All in all, the last couple of weeks haven’t been great for me.

This weekend I shared some of my latest eARC’s; Eyes of Kings by Chloe Gong, Prince of Swords by Elise Kova, As You Wake, Break the Shell by Becky Chambers and The Unknown by  Riley Sager. I’m really excited about these releases!

After finishing The Mistake by Elle Kennedy, I went back and reread Heated Rivalry and The Long Game. Next up I started a reread of All for the Game, I’m currently on the fifth book and I can’t wait until we get the sixth book in this series!

I’m currently watching the newest season of The Last Airbender! It’s not the animated show, but I’m still enjoying it. Maybe because it’s been a while since I saw the animated show, but maybe also because I like the way they are portraying the characters!

I have been obsessing over You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. Olivia Rodrigo made a great album and I keep finding new favorite songs on it haha.
