Bookish Item|Bookshelf Makeover Part Two

In December we decided we really needed to reorganize our bookshelves. They were a mess and not how we wanted them to be. It took a bit longer than planned, but we have both finally finished reorganzing our bookcases. If you want to see the before pictures click here.

Bookish Item|Comfort Books

After reading other blogs this past week I saw a few people mention books they read that comfort them. I thought that would be something fun to post about. I will post a couple now that I love to read when I’m not feeling great or am having a bad day. Who knows, maybe I will post more posts about comfort books.

Bookish Item | Discovering Audiobooks

I’ve never been a fan of audiobooks, I tried them once or twice in the past but just couldn’t concentrate on them. Recently I kept thinking about them however, it seemed like the perfect way to add more reading time to my day. Two weeks ago I decided to give the free trial at Storytel a try! Read on to find out how this is all went for me!

Bookish Item|People on Book Covers

Even though in the end it’s about the story, book covers can play an important role. They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but if you know nothing about a book it can influence you. I have had definite cover buys, haha. So today I wanted to talk a little bit about what I think when there are people on the cover of a book.

Bookish Item| Beat the Backlist 2018

Bookish Item | Book Series I Want to Finish in 2018

Both Candyce and I are members of a really fun Facebook group where a post two days ago prompted this article! Someone asked about the series we finished last year and I realized that I set myself a goal about finishing series in 2017. I thought I failed miserably  but it turned out I actually ALMOST made the goal. As I mentioned in the reading goals for 2018 post (you can find it here) I set myself the same goal this year. I plan on finishing 12 series this year. These are both series I already own completely and series where the last book comes out this year. Lets take a look! Bookish Item| Bookshelf make over

A lot of booklovers will recognize this problem. You start off arranging your bookshelves and they look great, but as time goes by and you collect more books they don’t look as great anymore. Series aren’t on the same shelf, books get piled in the front, because they don’t fit anymore and our worst fear: running out of space completely! We are both having these issues, so we decided to start off the new year by rearranging our bookshelves.

Bookish Item| Top 17 New Adult Books From 2017

This past year I’ve managed to read a good amount of books. I don’t only read young adult books, but a lot of new adult as well. If I were to combine these two while making a list of my favorite books this year, that would’ve been impossible so I decided to make a list of my favorite new adult books as well. Isabelle doesn’t read new adult, so it’s only a list from one of us.
