TTT #340| Favorite Book Quotes Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is favorite book quotes. I don’t really track my favorite quotes, so for this one I looked up some of my favorite books on Goodreads and picked quotes that way. Let’s see what I chose for this week!

5 On My TBR | Coming of Age

As we’ve mentioned before, one of our most important reading goals of is shrinking our physical TBR’s. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books we still have or what subjects to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is Coming of Age. Now I have a ton of YA books on my TBR, and I’m pretty sure a lot of those are about coming of age. It’s a central theme in a lot of YA stories. So let’s see if I can pick some good ones from my shelves! Continue reading “5 On My TBR | Coming of Age”

Show Sunday | My Crunchyroll To Watch List

I’m ‘slowly’ making my way through Haikyu (the best manga and anime of ever), but I’m also looking at what anime I want to watch next. So I looked through my Crunchyroll to watch list and thought it would be fun to share (part of) it with you all. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “Show Sunday | My Crunchyroll To Watch List”

Review| The Tainted Cup – Robert Jackson Bennett

Even though I haven’t read and Sherlock Holmes books, I always find it interesting if books have characters that are a lot like Holmes and Watson. If you add a fantasy story with a mystery to the mix, I’m sold. That was the case with The Tainted Cup! I finally sat down and read this one, so I want to tell you about it and my thoughts. Keep on reading to find out more!

A big thank you to Netgalley and Del Rey for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t influence my opinion in any way.

Fangirl Friday | My Steam Wishlist Part 3

It’s been a while since I shared parts of my Steam wishlist with you all (part 1 & part 2) so I thought it would be fun to share some more of it today. I love gaming and always add more games to my wishlist. There are 73 games on it currently haha, when I did my first Steam wishlist post it was about 50 games (and I have bought some of those since then….). So I guess it’s just like with books ;). I’m definitely a hoarder! Let’s take a look at some of the games on my list. Continue reading “Fangirl Friday | My Steam Wishlist Part 3”

Review| Powerless – Lauren Roberts

Powerless is a book that seemed to take the bookish community by storm. This book sounded right up my alley, so I was really excited to read it. I think it took me a bit longer, because reading hyped books is always a bit tricky, because sometimes you go in with higher expectations without realizing it. I did finally sit down and read Powerless and want to tell you about the book and my thoughts today, so keep on reading!

A big thanks to Simon & Schuster’s Children Publishing and Netgalley for providing me with an eARC to read and reviews. This doesn’t influence my opinion in any way.

WWW Wednesday #61

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?
