TTT #135| Books that Give Off Summer Vibes

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books that Give Off Summer Vibes. When I think reading in the summer, my brain jumps to contemporary books. So I’ll talk about ten contemporary books I hope to read this summer!

Bookhaul| I Supported My Local Bookstore

I know we’ll be writing a bookhaul for May in a few days, but I decided to do a mini haul today. As everyone knows, things have been closed for awhile. Our local bookstores are open and I decided to visit today. I went there and came right home, but it felt good to do something “normal” again! Bookish Item | Book Beginnings on Friday: The Bromance Book Club – Lyssa Kay Adams

It’s time for another Book Beginnings on Friday! This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often we will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time. Today’s book is The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Book Beginnings on Friday: The Bromance Book Club – Lyssa Kay Adams”

That’s when Isabelle stumbled upon this new bookish meme: #MGTakesOnThursday created by BookCraic. Middle grade books have become a bigger part of my TBR, so this looked like a lot of fun. Let’s take a look at what this is all about!
