It can be quite interesting to see what we’ve actually read and can make you run to your shelves to pick up the books you forgot about. Today let’s look back at our haul from May 2019! How did we do?

Review Blast| Cheesy on the Eyes – Teagan Hunter
Teagan Hunter is a go to author for me when I want a sweet romance that’ll make me laugh. Her Slice series has been perfect for these occasions and I’ve enjoyed all of them so far (A Pizza My Heart, I Knead You Tonight, Doughn’t Let Me Go and A Slice of Love). The last book, Cheesy on the Eyes, released this week and I think it’s my favorite! Keep on reading to see my full review of this book.

Down the TBR Hole #32
Seeing how I keep adding new books to my Goodreads TBR, I decided to did this just a little more often than I have before. It’s only been two weeks since I did my last post, but with the number of books still on that list, it’s never too soon to do this again. I’m trying to make this a regular post!
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. Review| The First Score – Amie Knight
I love when a book makes me love all of the characters and that leave a smile on my face. The First Score, the newest book by Amie Knight, was one of these books.Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought! A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.
Do be aware that The First Score has moments where self harm and domestic/child abuse is discussed. This could be difficult for some readers.
Bookish Item | Black Authors On My TBR
This past week or so racism has been the main focus on all media, social media, on the news etc. And while I like to think I’m not racist, I realized I could do more to be an actual anti-racist. One of the things I realized was that I don’t have that much Black authors on my shelves. Today I want to share the Black authors I have on my TBR. I immediately made a wishlist, because you bet the next book I buy will be by a Black author!
While I tried to only include Black authors, I might’ve accidentally included POC authors as well. I decided to risk that so I wouldn’t miss anyone!
