Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates! I hope you have a couple of great days, filled with family, love, good food and overall goodness. We’re trying to take it easy this year and just enjoy time together as a family. But that does mean there’s some time to watch some movies or shows together. So I wanted to share what I would want to watch during Christmas, and what I may actually be watching when you’re reading this haha. Let’s jump in! Review| Brutal Prince – Sophie Lark
Sophie Lark is an author I’ve heard so many great things about and I was determined to give one of her books a try this year. I’m cutting it close to the end of 2022, but I finally read a book by her. Brutal Prince was a pleasant surprise! I read it in just about one sitting. So keep on reading to find out more about this book and my thoughts.
Bookish Item | 2023 Reading Goals
With a little more than a week left in 2022, it’s time for us to start thinking about what we want to work on next year when it comes to reading! Every year we set a few reading goals and will do this again for the coming year. We don’t always succeed, but that’s something we’ll talk about in a couple of weeks, haha. So keep on reading if you want to hear about our 2023 reading goals!
Review| So This Is Christmas – Jenny Holiday
We’re a few days away from Christmas, so I can’t help but post a review for a holiday read. Last year I read and really enjoyed Duke, Actually. So This Is Christmas is the next book in this series and I was very grateful when I got approved for an eARC on Netgalley. So keep on reading to find out more about the book and what I thought!
A big thank you to the publisher for providing me with an eARC to read and review.

WWW Wednesday #28
It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
TTT #268 | Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year. Somehow I haven’t put any books on my Christmas wishlist. Probably because I already own so many unread ones haha. However, I do have a couple of books I would love for Santa to bring me. These books aren’t released yet, some don’t have a release date or even year so it would be a Christmas miracle haha. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “TTT #268 | Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year”
Netgalley Next #16
One of our reading goals is working on our Netgalley feedback ratio. Eventually we want to get it to 80%. And to help motivate us we decided to do this new post every week. We pick three of our eARCs and based on the first line, paragraph, or page we decide which one we’ll read next. Let’s take a look at today’s picks for this week’s Netgalley Next!
Royal Update #155
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Down the TBR Hole #92
This is probably my last Down the TBR Hole and I’m so close to getting under 900 books on my want to read shelf. My post today marks the 5th time I haven’t added any books to this shelf and even have one less than the last time.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Review | Five Survive – Holly Jackson
As a massive fan of the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy I was super excited to get an eARC of Holly Jackson’s newest book Five Survive. The book was released November 29th so I thought now was the perfect time to share my thoughts with you all! Let’s take a look!
