Review| The Consort – K.A. Linde
I was a bit sceptical about this series after reading The Affiliate. Romance was a bit too much of the story, but The Bound started fixing that. Then I got to The Consort and it just blew me away! This book is action packed from the start. I don’t know why I waited so long to read this series.

Yesterday my review of The Affiliate came online. Today I am back with my review for the second book in the Ascension series. The Bound starts off where the first one ended. I had some issues with the first book. Does this continue in The Bound or have things changed?

K.A. Linde is an author I only know for her romances. I knew she had a fantasy series, so when I saw the sign up to review her fantasy series I had to give it a chance. Review| Gunslinger Girl – Lyndsay Ely
Gunslinger Girl wasn’t a book that was top priority on my TBR. To be honest, I’ve never read a Western before and that kind of held me back. I did hear a lot of good things about it though. TBR & Beyond had this book as a group read. There was even a chat with the author, so I gave the book a try.

We’re in the middle of the summer and I have been loving contemporary books lately. The Facebook group TBR & Beyond is doing a group read of Love Songs & Other Lies by Jessica Pennington. Review| The Art of Taking Chances
The Art of Taking Chances is a collection of short stories. All of these stories are young adult and contemporary (romance). I was introduced to this anthology through Kayla Tirrell. I have read and reviewed a few of her books this past year and loved them! When I heard she would also be writing a story, I needed to read it. The Art of Taking Chances is also a perfect summer read! Today I have a review of the whole book and for each short story!
