Review| The Affiliate – K.A. Linde

K.A. Linde is an author I only know for her romances. I knew she had a fantasy series, so when I saw the sign up to review her fantasy series I had to give it a chance. The Affiliate is the first book in the Ascension series. Thanks for the author, publisher and Inkslinger PR for the chance to read and review.

Review| Gunslinger Girl – Lyndsay Ely

Gunslinger Girl wasn’t a book that was top priority on my TBR. To be honest, I’ve never read a Western before and that kind of held me back. I did hear a lot of good things about it though. TBR & Beyond had this book as a group read. There was even a chat with the author, so I gave the book a try.

Review| Love Songs & Other Lies – Jessica Pennington

We’re in the middle of the summer and I have been loving contemporary books lately. The Facebook group TBR & Beyond is doing a group read of Love Songs & Other Lies by Jessica Pennington. Of course that meant I needed to read this as well. It’s been on my TBR since I heard about it, so I was excited to see if I would love it like I thought I would.

Review| The Art of Taking Chances

The Art of Taking Chances is a collection of short stories. All of these stories are young adult and contemporary (romance). I was introduced to this anthology through Kayla Tirrell. I have read and reviewed a few of her books this past year and loved them! When I heard she would also be writing a story, I needed to read it. The Art of Taking Chances is also a perfect summer read! Today I have a review of the whole book and for each short story!

Review| Reign of the Fallen – Sarah Glenn Marsh

Reign of the Fallen was one of my favorite books last month. This book was released in January, but I didn’t have a chance to read sooner. TBR & Beyond had this as a group read and I love participating in those. Reign of the Fallen is a book about necromancers. Did I enjoy reading this book?

Blog Tour| Kiss of the Royal – Lindsey Duga

A lot of books use a kiss as a weapon. To kill, to hypnotize and I am sure many other things. Kiss of the Royal is another books like that. The main character in Kiss of the Royal sees her kiss as a weapon, not as something of love. Was this an interesting take of a kiss as something more than a kiss? I read the book and today is my spot on the blog tour.
