This book sounded like it would be heartbreaking, but very beautiful. I was hoping that when I closed this book the main character would have her happily ever after and be more at peace. I can’t imagine losing your husband and then doing all of the things on his birthday list. I was lucky to receive an ARC of this book, thank you for that! When I read what this book was about, I expected an epic love story between two people who weren’t supposed to be together. This was kind of true, but this book was so much more than I expected. I have read a lot of romances and forbidden loves, but never something like this. This book impressed me so much that I actually finished it in one day.
We were looking for something to post on Sundays when we don’t have anything planned (which is the case a lot of the time lately, haha). Then I saw a post on Early Bookish Bird‘s blog and it seemed like the perfect fit. She started #howimetmybook .

I am a big fan of Kendall Ryan (I have mentioned this before, haha) and I love helping her promote her new books. She has another book coming out on May 1st, Bro Code. Today I get to help reveal the cover and share some information about what it’s about.
Not too long ago, I participated in the cover reveal for this duology. The first one was released today and the second one comes out in two weeks! It sounds really good and my review to the first one will be posted on the blog on Monday. There are so many new releases out that look really good. I don’t know where to start, haha. This is a little later than planned. I had to work today, so when I got the package to share this with you guys, I couldn’t put it together right away. Not too long ago I read Mother of Shadows. I was given the opportunity to review this book for the author (that is still such an honor) and this book sounded good. I was warned it had a cliffhanger though and the second book just came out. Will I be able to wait to read the second one?
