I’m the type of reader that reads a lot at once and tends to get distracted, haha. This comes to series as well, I’ll start and mean to go back to the next books and before I know it the year is over and I still haven’t touched the next book. I really want to change this, so today I want to talk about completed series I’ve started and really need to finish. Hopefully this post helps me along!

Normally we do tags on Thursdays, but lately both of us have been having a harder time finding tags we want to do or think are fun. That’s when Isabelle stumbled upon this new bookish meme: #MGTakesOnThursday created by BookCraic. Middle grade books have become a bigger part of my TBR, so this looked like a lot of fun. Let’s take a look at what this is all about!
I’m always up for reading challenges, because they’re great way to get through some books and backlist books at that! Ellie from Read to Ramble posted about this and she saw it on Holly’s blog from Holly Loves Books. The Book Tempter’s TBR Book Challenge was created by Runalong the Shelves and the original post can be found here.
There is no set date to start this challenge, only that you have 12 weeks to complete it. So I think I’ll start on June 1st and this will end on August 24th. Hopefully I can get to some of my backlist books, so let’s take a look at the TBR I hope to stick to with the prompts for the challenge.

As big Harry Potter fans, we were really excited to participate in this year’s Magical Readathon. You choose a career in this world and read books to earn your O.W.L.s. We both chose career paths and made a TBR (Part 1 & Part 2) at the beginning of April. We’re almost halfway through May and wanted to let you know how we did. It’s May and in the bookish world, that means it’s Middle Grade May! That made me take a look at my shelves to figure out what I wanted to read. Looking at my shelves, I realized, I had a lot more unread middle grade books on my shelves than I thought. That’s why I want to share my middle grade back log today. Hopefully I can post an update in a few months and have a lot of these read. Let’s take a look!
After participating in the Magical Readathon this month to earn my O.W.L.s. I realized how much I really enjoy doing readathons. Books I’ve had for awhile finally get put on my TBR and it’s just fun to participate in a big group reading adventure. Two friends of mine from Fangirl Pixie Blog and Sometimes Leelynn Reads created the Seamaydenathon. This runs the whole month of May. Click here for all of the information. Today I’m going to talk about the prompts and the books I want to read this month!
Last month we posted our TBRs for the Magical Readathon (Part 1 & Part 2) this year. We both set up a TBR to get our O.W.L.s. We’re both terrible at completing readathons, so we thought that by posting something about our progress would maybe help us along. We’re at the halfway mark now, so let’s take a look at our Magical Readathon update. How are we doing so far?
I’m always looking for new memes to do on the blog for bookish items on Friday. On Twitter I heard about a new one 5 On My TBR. This is normally done on Mondays, but I’m moving it to Friday, because it works just a bit better for our schedule, haha.
#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook and you can learn more about it here or in the post announcing it. It occurs every Monday when we post about 5 books on our TBR. RomComs was the prompt for March 23rd, but I love them too much to not do this one! Let’s take a look at five romcoms on my TBR.

It’s almost April, which means a quarter of the year is almost over. I thought this would be the perfect time for my first reading goals update of the year! Let’s take a look at how I’m doing so far!
Even though I really end up failing at readathons after making a TBR, I still love trying to see how far I get. I enjoyed the winter edition of the magical readthon last December and was excited to give the O.W.L.s. a go! This readathon will take place the whole month of April and was created by Book Roast.
