This week’s topic is most anticipated book releasing in the second half of 2025. I have to say that this year has already been packed with new releases that sound amazing, and I know the second half of the year is going to be just as  busy. Let’s take a look at some of the releases I’m really excited about!

Review| Built to Last – Erin Hahn

As a fan of home renovations shows, I knew I needed to read Built to Last when I read our two main characters would be working on a show like that together. Add in the fact that it’s a second chance romance, and it was an automatic I need to read this book. I did just that and want to tell you about it today. Keep on reading to find out what Built to Last is about and what I thought!

A big thank you to Netgalley and St. Martin’s Griffin for providing me with an eARC to read and review.

Bookish Item | MG Books The Kids at My School Love

As a teacher of kids ages 9 to 12 I’m always interested in good MG books. I do teach here in the Netherlands, so the kids in my class speak Dutch and they mostly read in Dutch as well. Of course I’m trying to get them to love reading as much as I do. Today I wanted to share some of the books they are currently loving. Let’s take a look!

WWW Wednesday #89

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Down the TBR Hole #150

It’s finally time for the 150th Down the TBR Hole post! I’m starting at the same amount of books as last time. Even though I could’ve sworn I read one or two of these. Maybe it was a different edition. I still haven’t added anything though and that’s all that matters!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
