We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

If you’re reading this, it means I’m back at work and my three weeks of vacation are over. These week flew by so quickly! I actually didn’t take many pictures. We had quite a bit of rain. Including the two days we went to the beach, haha. Thankfully we had some dry moments, so we did get to walk along the ocean and we visited a museum.

We also went shopping a couple of time and just lounged around the house. I got quite a bit of reading done. I also finally got a reading tracker to hang on my bookcase. I’ve been wanting one more quite some time, but never found what I was looking for. My boyfriend looked it up and found exactly what I wanted in one go, haha.

Once again I’ve added a few more eARCs/ALCs to my collection since my last Royal Update. I’ve received approvals for: What Fury Brings (ALC), The Damned (ALC), The House Saphir (ALC), Saturn Returning, Wayward Souls, and The Book Witch.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Tryst Six Venom, Out of the Gate, Double Apex, Falling Like Leaves, The City and Its Uncertain Walls, The Killer Question, Prince Charming, Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee, Everything She Does Is Magic, The Will of the Many, Rewitched, The Break-Up Pact, Warrior Princess Assassin, Love & Other Killers, and Hot for Slayer.

I’m currently reading: Tourist Season and Girl Geek.

Next I’m hoping to read: The Fang Arrangement, From Blood and Ash (re-read), and Soul Searching.

I’ve been seeing K-Pop Demons everything and my boyfriend watched it and said it was fun. He didn’t mind watching it again, so I picked this one for my movie night last week. I’ll be listening to the soundtrack. The songs are catchy. I definitely get why people are loving this movie.

Being on vacation means I’ve been reading more than listening to music, but I have recently listened to Zara Larsson’s new album! I’ll be listening to more music again this week.
