This week we have another Wishlist Wednesday for you guys. Today you get to see a few books that have been on our wishlists for quite some time, but that we still haven’t actually bought. This also fits nicely with the Beat the Backlist Challenge we both are particpating in 😉 Let’s take a look.
I read about this book on Facebook, with the opportunity to sign up and help promote this book. Besides that, I received an ARC to review on release day. All I can say is I’m very happy I decided to sign up or really even saw this on Facebook. This isn’t a book I would’ve wanted to miss. Tuesdays at Six is going to be the book that has to be beat this year. If I could give it more than five stars I would!
We have been having fun with these Top Ten Tuesdays, so we decide we will do one every week. This bookish meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! This will be changing January 16th. Starting then we will find the Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week is all about the books I meant to read in 2017 but didn’t get to – and I totally plan on reading in 2018 😉 – Let’s take a look at those 10 books! I picked all 2017 (except 1) releases I already own.
A friend of ours, Kwante, from Kwante in Wonderland created the Monthly Monday Book Shelfie. Every month there is a new topic. Continue reading to find out what the Monthly Monday Book Shelfie is and what to do if you want to participate!
We were looking for something to post on Sundays when we don’t have anything planned. Then I saw a post on Early Bookish Bird‘s blog and it seemed like the perfect fit. She started #howimetmybook .
As you all have read before, we both want to tackle our TBR this year. We both have a good amount of books that need to be read and we want to lower that number as much as we can. Then we heard about Beat the Backlist organized by NovelKnight Book Reviews. Today we are talking about what it is and our goal for Beat the Backlist.
Both Candyce and I are members of a really fun Facebook group where a post two days ago prompted this article! Someone asked about the series we finished last year and I realized that I set myself a goal about finishing series in 2017. I thought I failed miserably but it turned out I actually ALMOST made the goal. As I mentioned in the reading goals for 2018 post (you can find it here) I set myself the same goal this year. I plan on finishing 12 series this year. These are both series I already own completely and series where the last book comes out this year. Lets take a look! It’s the first week of 2018 and I thought it would be nice to start off with a tag about that. Our friend, Melissa, from Melissa’s Book World, posted this tag and I thought it would be a perfect fit for this week. So I decided to tag myself. What are my resolutions?
The most wonderful time of the year is over and with that the last month of the year. It’s time for us to let you know what books we received this month and added to our never ending TBR!
It’s January 2nd and I am already back with a review of an amazing book that’s being published today. I had the opportunity to read this book before the release and I was really impressed. If you want to know more about this book, keep reading!
