Review| Awakening Autumn – Lora Richardson

Earlier this year I read Vanishing Summer and was amazed by this story. So needless to say, I was so excited when I found out the sequel had arrived. Awakening Autumn is the next book of the Unexpected Love series and is out now. I have to start off with a big thanks to the author for providing me an ARC to read and review!

Review| Crown of Dragons – Nina Walker

Nina Walker is an author I’ve heard about quite a bit, but hadn’t gotten around to any of her books yet. I own one of her books, Prism, but haven’t read it yet. Not too long ago, I heard about her newest book Crown of Dragons. It sounded so good! I knew I needed to give it a go. A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review | Truly Devious – Maureen Johnson

Truly Devious is a book that’s been on my radar for quite awhile. I kept hearing that I will want the next book, so I kept putting it off. This month Truly Devious is a group read in the TBR & Beyond group.

Which means I finally picked it up and am excited to talk about what I read. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day!

Mini Reviews | Shadow Me & Defy Me – Tahereh Mafi

When I started reading Defy Me I realized I had forgotten a lot about Restore Me haha. So a friend told me I should really read the novella Shadow Me first and I’m so happy I did. I don’t have that much to say about either story though, so I thought I would do another round of mini reviews.
since these are book 4,5 & 5 in the Shatter Me series, there will be spoilers for the earlier books!

Review| Roar – Cora Carmack

Roar was released in June ’17 and I read it pretty shortly after that. I can remember, because there are little teeth marks in my cover (I had two tiny kittens running around back then, haha). All of the fans have been waiting for a sequel and after the author had some health issues, we’re finally getting the next one.

With Rage releasing soon, this was a perfect time to re-read Roar. It’s been so long, I needed a refresher! Let’s see what I thought the second time around.

Review Blast| Truly Mine – Kennedy Fox

Earlier this year I enjoyed Baby Mine and Baby Yours. Now Kennedy Fox has started the next Roommate Duet. The first one, Truly Mine, is now available for all of us to read! A big thanks to the authors and WIldfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an ARC to read and review. Let’s take a look at what I thought about this book.

Review Blast| Playing for Keeps – Kendall Ryan

Kendall Ryan is my go to author for fun romances and amazing characters. I’m still shocked about how many books she can right. Today is the release day for the first book in the Hot Jocks series, Playing for Keeps.

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review. Keep on reading to find out what I thought of this sports romance!

Review| Wicked Angel – Sawyer Bennett

Sawyer Bennett is an author I’ve come to love for romance books. She writes different things like Dax (a hockey romance) and Gimme Some Sugar (a bit cleaner/sweet romance). Having enjoyed both, I was really curious about the Wicked Horse Vegas series.

The sixth book, Wicked Angel, was released this week and can be read as a standalone. A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review. Let’s talk about what I thought of this book!

Review| White Hot Kiss – Jennifer L. Armentrout

Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read almost all of her books. About five years ago I read The Dark Elements, but only had them as e-books. I personally didn’t like the covers at all! This year they all got a cover change before the first book in the spin-off series was released.

I knew I needed these covers and felt that a reread was a good start before diving into the spin-off. White Hot Kiss is the first book in this trilogy and today I want to tell you what I thought about this book!

Buddy Review | Killing November – Adriana Mather

We both read Killing November by Adriana Mather recently so it was the perfect time for another buddy review. Adriana Mather did a live chat in the TBR and Beyond group and that made for a good excuse to pick this book up. We both had it on our radar and wanted to read it, and because of the live chat we did pretty soon after the release at the end of m=March. Let’s see what we thought about this story.
