Down the TBR Hole #160

It’s been almost a month since I did a Down the TBR Hole post. Even though I haven’t had anything taken off of my want to read shelf, I haven’t added any either!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Bookish Item | Books I Want to Read Before the End of the Year

We’re getting closer and closer to the end of the year. So obviously I’m thinking about which books I would like to read before the end of the year. I already hit my Goodreads goal, so I’m not taking that into account this time around. But some of my other goals might finally come into play! So let’s take a look! Bookish Item| Goodreads Choice Awards 2025: Young Adult Fiction & Fantasy/Sci-Fi TBR

The last few years I haven’t been reading as much young adult books as before. I still enjoy them, but I have been focusing more on adult stories. That being said, there are still quite a few I want to read.

Looking at this year’s Goodreads Choice nominees in the young adult categories reminded me of some I still have on my TBR. Let’s take a look at some I’m hoping to read soon.

Bookish Item | Goodreads Choice Awards: Which Books Did I Read?

It’s that time of the year! The first round of the Goodreads Choice Awards is live. I was really curious to see if I had read any of the nominees. This year I’ve reread a lot of books and I wasn’t sure how many 2025 releases I read. So let’s take a look and see which nominees I did read! Can’t Wait Wednesday | Mr & Mrs Dixon Hide a Body – Jennifer Holdich

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Mr & Mrs Dixon Hide a Body – Jennifer Holdich”

Bookish Item| 10 Before the End 2025 Edition

As we’re nearing the end of 2025, I keep seeing people making their 10 before the end lists. I will be the first person to say that I’m not good at sticking to TBRs, but I can’t resist making my own list, because there are so many books I want to get to before the year is over. Let’s take a look at my 10 before the end!

Show Sunday | The 9-1-1 Franchise

In my last Show Sunday post I talked about the newest 9-1-1 show; 9-1-1 Nashville. In the past I have talked about the original 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star. With this newest addition to the franchise, I thought it would be a good time to talk about all three of them. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “Show Sunday | The 9-1-1 Franchise”

Review| Holiday Ever After – Hannah Grace

Halloween is over and I’m in full Christmas mode now. I mean, I kind of was before Halloween, but even more so now, haha. Holiday Ever After sounded like a Hallmark Christmas movie, but a bit spicy, so I needed it in my life. Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more!

A big thank you to Netgalley and Atria Books for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way.
