One I haven’t talked about in a while; To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! Yes, you know exactly what will happen, but I love anyway. This series is one I still hold close to my heart and I love watching the movies as well!
Party Guests: your most anticipated book release for this year
I woke up to the best news and my new most anticipated book release for the year; the next ACOTAR book! Absolutely insane that we’re getting a book in October and the next one in January, I’m beyond excited!!
Birthday Presents: a book that surprised you with how much you loved it
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I was pleasantly surprised by Only a Monster. When I picked it up I didn’t really have any expectations, but I ended up loving it! I wish more people would talk about it.
“Happy Birthday” Song: a book that certainly deserved all the hype it got
Honestly, I loved hyped books! They can be gateway books for non-readers and I think that’s a great way to get more people into reading. One that comes to mind is Fourth Wing, it might not be the best book ever but it’s so enjoyable!
Happy Music: a book with some very beautiful and truly memorable quotes
Anything written by V.E. Schwab, Leigh Bardugo or Sarah J. Maas! Whenever I do a quotes post I have to stop myself from only picking quotes by these ladies.
Getting Older: a book that you read a long time ago, but you think you would appreciate more if you read it as a more mature reader
This is a hard one! I think it’s usually the other way around, a book I didn’t really enjoy now but might’ve enjoyed when I was younger. The only books I think I would appreciate more now are books I read in high school for the literary exam, but they are all Dutch books.
Sweet Birthday Memories: a book that kept you incredibly happy during a sad or demanding period of your life
Whenever I’m stressed I start having sleep problems and that’s when I use a audiobook to fall asleep. The last couple of years it’s either the Throne of Glass series or the All for the Game series haha. So I guess those would be my answer!
