Bookish Item | Marvel Unlimited – Is It Worth It?

As you might know, I really enjoy reading graphic novels. I read all sorts of them but they can be quite pricey for the time you actually spend reading them. While I watch a lot of superhero movies, I haven’t actually read a lot of them. I love Marvel but there’s just so much to read. So I decided to try the Marvel Unlimited subscription for the comics. And today I wanted to share some of my experience. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Marvel Unlimited – Is It Worth It?”

TTT #182 | Animals from Books

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Animals from Books. I love animals in real life so reading about animals in books is always a plus. Unless they die….. I love them in all forms, including shapeshifters! So let’s take a look at some of my favorites. Continue reading “TTT #182 | Animals from Books”

5 On My TBR| Love Triangles

We already try keeping track of our TBR in different ways, but it’s also fun to look at them in themes. That’s one of the reasons why the bookish meme 5 On My TBR is so much fun. This bookish meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. This week’s prompt is Dual Timelines, but I’ve decided to do last week’s prompt: Love Triangles. That’s not a trope I’m normally a fan of, but I’m sure I have a few on my shelf. Let’s take a look!

Down the TBR Hole #52

I’m keeping my promise and doing this post every other week. The past couple of weeks have been good and I haven’t added much to my Goodreads TBR. It also helps that I’ve started reading a couple books on that list as well.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | The Project – Courtney Summers

I was super excited to read The Project after loving Sadie by Courtney Summers. This is a YA mystery/thriller and that’s one of my favourite genres. After listening to this on audio I have a hard time reviewing it. That’s why it took me this long to write this post. But today I’ll share my thoughts!

Bookish Item| May TBR

How is it time to talk about the books I want to read in May?!? I really feel like I was just talking about April. Even though April didn’t got completely as planned there are some books I want to read next month. I’ve been mood reading more lately, so this could change, but I hope to read most of these. Keep on reading for my May TBR!

Tag | Bohemian Rhapsody Book Tag

As I do every Thursday, I went looking for a fun tag today. And as soon as I saw this title, I knew this was one I wanted to do! Recently we watched the movie Bohemian Rhapsody again and I just loved it so much. I started listening to Queen all over again and this was just perfect! The tag was created by The Bookish Underdog and I found it over at Zezee’s blog. Let’s jump into the questions! Continue reading “Tag | Bohemian Rhapsody Book Tag”
