Down the TBR Hole #69

It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve written a Down the TBR Hole post, but it’s actually only been two weeks. The way time goes is weird at times, haha. With my Goodreads TBR still being so high I’m definitely going to stick to doing these posts regularly.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | The Love Hypothesis – Laura Steven

The Love Hypothesis was one of the books I bought in Paris. And the one I read there right away. I adore Laura Steven as a person and loved her book The Exact Opposite of Okay. So of course I wanted to read The Love Hypothesis as well. And today I want to share my thoughts on this story with you all. So let’s jump in!

Bookish Item | Authors I Want to Try in 2022

In 2021 I discovered quite a few new authors who had books I loved so much I want to read their whole backlist. I really love when that happens, but there are still quite a few authors who have books that sounds good and I want to give a try in 2022. Today I want to talk about a few of those authors. Keep on reading to find out more!

Bookish Item | My Unread Manga & Graphic Novels

I wasn’t feeling any tags for today so I decided to do a bookish item. And when I was looking around my room I thought it would be interesting to share my unread manga and graphic novels. You could also say this is my manga and graphic novel TBR. It’s not big but I do think I have a couple of exciting reads on there. Let’s jump in!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Survive the Dome – Kosoko Jackson

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Survive the Dome – Kosoko Jackson”

TTT #215 | Books On My Winter TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books On My Winter TBR. I always have more than 10 books on my TBR and I don’t think I’ve ever read all ten books I’ve put on these TBRs, but here are 10 books I hope to read this winter!

5 On My TBR | Magical Realism/Fabulism

Tracking your TBR is pretty important when it’s quite large, haha. Besides Down the TBR Hole and my Netgalley Backlist we needed something to track my physical TBR. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is Magical Realism/Fabulism. I think there are some controversies on which books should be magical realism, so I believe that’s why there is also the term fabulism. Especially without reading the books I’m not sure which books on my shelves are magical realism (or fabulism). So I’m going off of what is on Goodreads. It might not be totally correct but it is what I’m going with today haha. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “5 On My TBR | Magical Realism/Fabulism”

Show Sunday | La Casa de Papel – Final Season

As you all know I watch a ton of shows. And one of my most anticipated shows for this month (and actually this year) was the final season of La Casa de Papel. I loved this show throughout the first 4 seasons and after watching the first half of the final season earlier this year I just had to watch these episodes right away. And today I want to share my thoughts about them, so let’s jump in! Continue reading “Show Sunday | La Casa de Papel – Final Season”

Review| The Mistletoe Motive – Chloe Liese

We’re two weeks away from Christmas, so I think it’s only appropriate to share a holiday romance review. The Mistletoe Motive is a novella by Chloe Liese and I want to talk about this book today. Keep on reading to find out more about this book and what I thought.

A big thanks to the author and Kobo for providing me with an e-arc to read and review!
