TTT #215 | Books On My Winter TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books On My Winter TBR. I always have more than 10 books on my TBR and I don’t think I’ve ever read all ten books I’ve put on these TBRs, but here are 10 books I hope to read this winter!

All the Feels – Olivia Dade

After loving Spoiler Alert as much as I did I’m actually shocked I haven’t read All the Feels yet! I even did a reread of Spoiler Alert earlier this year. This book is definitely on top of my to read ASAP list.

Finlay Donovan Is Killing It – Ellie Cosimano

Finlay Donovan Is Killing It is a book I’ve seen all over the place online. This book caught my eye, but I just got it at the end of October. An author mistaken for a contract killer. That’s going to get interesting.

The Hating Game – Sally Thorne

The Hating Game has been on my TBR and shelf for quite some time. While it sounds like a book I’ll love I’ve been hesitant to read it. This seems to be a book you either love or hate. A film adaptation just released and I want to read the book before watching the movie. A friend of mine thinks I’ll enjoy this one, so it’s time to give it a try.

Chain of Gold – Cassandra Clare

Chain of Gold is a book I’ve now put on quite a few TBR posts. The Shadowhunter world is one I’ve really come attached to. Chain of Gold is the spin off to The Infernal Devices (my favorite trilogy in this world), so why I haven’t picked it up is unknown to me. I think it’s because it’s a bigger book and I’ve been trying to finish my challenge. I’m fixing that next year by lowering my Goodreads challenge.

Grace and Glory – Jennifer L. Armentrout

Grace and Glory is the final book in The Harbinger trilogy and after the ending of Rage and Ruin I’ve wanted to know how this story all ends. Like I said about Chain of Gold, Grace and Glory is also a bigger book. I really need to make time for more bigger books.

As Good As Dead – Holly Jackson

I think I have a trend with a few books being the last of a series. As Good As Dead is the last book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy. The first two books kept me on the edge of my seat and even though I’m sad about this story ending I want to know how it all wraps up.

Boyfriend Material – Alexis Hall

Boyfriend Material is another book I’ve wanted to read for quite some time. I recently read Murder Most Actual and now I want to read everything by this author. Romances that start with fake relationships are my favorite, so I’m excited to read this one.

Flash Fire – T.J Klune

A couple of months ago I read The Extraordinaries and loved it so much. So I need to read the sequel and spend more time with these amazing characters. This series seems to be filled with humor, but also heartwarming moments, and some superheroes. T.J. Klune is definitely becoming a favorite author of mine.

Small Favors – Erin A. Craig

I can’t help adding a spooky book to this TBR. The cover of Small Favors is the first thing that caught my attention, but I’ve heard a lot of great things about this story. I love when the atmosphere of a book sucks you in and I have a feeling Small Favors is this kind of book.

In Deeper Waters – F.T. Lukens

Another book that has a stunning cover I just couldn’t resist. In Deeper Waters is an adventure where a young prince must rely on a mysterious stranger to save him when he’s kidnapped. I have a feeling there’s going to be a romance in here. Just my kind of book!

  1. I’m sad at the end of the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder books, I hope she writes something new soon. The final book has a bit of a different vibe and really left me on edge!

  2. You seem to have a great tbr planned out. I hear Olivia Dade books are good. I plan to start on her books in 2022.

  3. I hope you enjoy all of these! I need to finish the second Good Girl’s book before I can get to As Good As Dead, I’m hoping to get to both next year.

  4. I’ll be interested to see what you think of AS GOOD AS DEAD. I loved the first two books in the series, but this third one…I don’t know. It kept me turning pages—I just didn’t like the direction it took. This book is much darker and less fun than the others. I hope you enjoy it, though, and all your other picks!

    Happy TTT!
