Book Tour| New Dragon City – Mari Mancusi
As you know (if you’ve been following our blog for awhile), I’m a big fan of middle grade books. So I’m really excited about my tour stop for New Dragon City hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. I had the honor of interviewing the author. So if you want to know more about this book and author, keep on reading!

Down the TBR Hole #87
I think this is the first time I’ve started a Down the TBR Hole with less books on my want to read shelf than I ended with at the end of my last post! I’m very proud of myself! Hopefully I can keep this going.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Review | As Good As Dead – Holly Jackson
A year after the release I finally read the final book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series and today I want to share my thoughts with you all. I loved the first two books and the prequel novella and was so curious to see if As Good As Dead would live up to my expectations.

Bookish Item | New to Me Authors I Need to Read Part 2
In April I wrote about new to me authors I need to read more from. In May I posted about new to me authors I need to read. This year I discovered dark romance and there are just so many books and authors to choose from. I’ve created quite a list of authors I need to read, so here is part 2 of my original post!

Tag | Monster Mash Book Tag
It is October so I figured it was time for our first Halloween themed book tag of the month! We have done a lot of Halloween book tags over the years but I think I have found one that hasn’t been featured on this blog yet. It is the Monster Mash Book tag and it was created by The Restricted Section. Let’s jump right in! Continue reading “Tag | Monster Mash Book Tag”
Can’t Wait Wednesday | Tell Me What Really Happened – Chelsea Sedoti
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Tell Me What Really Happened – Chelsea Sedoti”
TTT #257 | Thrillers I Want to Read
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is favorite bookstores or bookstores you want to visit. I won’t make it to ten with those, so I decided to do my own topic. It’s spooky season which means I like to pick up some spooky books and thrillers. Here are ten of those I want to read.
Looking Back At Our Bookhauls | September 2021
Now that we’ve talked about what we read and added to our shelves in September it’s time to look back at last year’s bookhaul. What books did we add to our shelves in September 2021? And more importantly: have we read them? Keep on reading this month’s Looking Back at Our Bookhauls to find out!
