In April I wrote about new to me authors I need to read more from. In May I posted about new to me authors I need to read. This year I discovered dark romance and there are just so many books and authors to choose from. I’ve created quite a list of authors I need to read, so here is part 2 of my original post!

Magnolia Parks – Jessa Hastings

Honestly, I’m not sure if this author has other books than this series, but I’ve been seeing Magnolia Parks all over booktube. If I’ve been paying attention this story doesn’t have a lot of plot, but it’s mostly conversation and a lot of angst. A few reviews I’ve seen people have wanted to throw their book away at the end. I love when books hits you in all the feels like that.

Brutal Prince – Sophie Lark

So Sophie Lark has quite a few books and I know that you need to read some series before others. For now I’ve put Brutal Prince here, but I need to look up what order her books need to be read in. This series has all mafia romances. That isn’t something I’ve read yet.

Dirty Crazy Bad – Siobhan Davis

Dirty Crazy Bad is a dark college reverse harem romance. This already had me intrigued, but add a secret society and I need to know more! I don’t know much about the plot, but from a few reviews I’ve come to the conclusion this one has quite a few twists and turns. I’m intrigued!

Corrupt – Penelope Douglas

So I have read Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas, so she isn’t a new to me author. That being said Corrupt is nothing like Punk 57, so I’m still counting her as a new to me author. I have read dark romance, but I have a feeling this definitely goes a bit further than what I’ve been reading. That being said, I do still want to give it a go.

Charming Your Dad – Sarah Blue

Charming Your Dad is a pretty new release, but a friend of mine on bookstagram recommended this one. She pitched it as Lucifer meets Supernatural meet Praise. Seeing how I’ve enjoyed all three of these things, I had to add this to my TBR! So dark romance mixed with magic? Yes, please!!
