We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The last two weeks have been so relaxing. I haven’t had to work and this week is my third and final week of vacation. I know I’m not going to be ready to go back. We had lots of plans, but ended up having to postpone some, because the boyfriend got sick. I was under the weather for a few days as well. It was pretty rainy, so I enjoyed some quiet days reading.

Thursday the boyfriend and I went out to lunch and did a little shopping. It was a nice day and the first dry day that week, so it was perfect. Hopefully I’ll have some more things to show you in my next Royal Update.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added one new e-arc to my Kindle. I’m pretty proud of myself!

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Club 22, The Appeal, Praise, Blood Like Magic, and Hook, Line and Sinker.

I’m currently reading: Yes & I Love You, You & I Rewritten, Cursed Fates, Court of the Vampire Queen, and Mexican Gothic.

Next I plan on reading Timber, Love in the Time of Serial Killers, and Go Hex Yourself.

Nothing to report in my shop log this week!

Last weekend we watched the new Thor movie. It was funny and definitely entertaining! The boyfriend and I also started watching Stranger Things. It’s normally not my kind of show, but I was really curious about it. So far it’s pretty good even though I wouldn’t watch it alone in the dark, haha.

5 Seconds of Summer is a boyband I kind of missed out on, haha. After recently hearing a song of theirs on the radio I decided to listen to their latest album. Definitely my kind of music.
