This week’s topic is Books With One-Word Titles. I’m sure I have a couple of those on my shelves so I’ll try and stick to books I have on my TBR. Let’s take a look!
As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This week’s topic is contemporary. I have to say this topic won’t be hard. Contemporary is one of my go to genres and I have quite a few on my TBR. Let’s take a look at a few I hope to read soon.

It’s been about a month since I’ve done a Down the TBR Hole and I’m proud to say my list want to read shelf hasn’t increased and I was able to read two books from that shelf.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
I’m still working on my complete Throne of Glass reread and the next two books were Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn. A popular way to read these two has been to do a tandem read. Since Tower of Dawn mostly takes place during the events in Empire of Storms you can alternate between the books. I decided to try that for this reread. So let’s talk about my experience! There will be some spoilers!

This weekend I’m off to France for about a week. I’m not doing much this summer break, but I am going to my parents place in France. And of course I will be reading some books while I’m there.
