We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is a freebie. I have a post I plan on writing soon about authors who have backlists I really want to catch up on, so to start that off, today I’ll be talking about ten new to me authors I need to read more from.
Micalea Smeltzer
The Confidence of Wildflowers was my favorite read last month and now I just want to read more by this author. I’m actually hoping to read Sweet Dandelion this week.
Kennedy Ryan
Before I Let Go is one of my favorite 2023 reads so far and as I’m typing this I’m almost done with Long Shot. Kennedy’s books seem raw and emotional and I want to read more.
Mazey Eddings
I was going to wait to read A Brush with Love first before reading Lizzie Blake’s Best Mistake, but it sounded too good for me to wait. I loved that book so much I want to read more and I even have an eARC for two of her upcoming releases.
Sarah Adams
When in Rome was such a cute small town romance and I have Practice Makes Perfect on my shelf to read soon. Sarah actually has more books than I realized and I’m excited to catch up on them.
Lucy Score
Besides Meghan Quinn, I think Lucy Score has the biggest backlist in this list for me to catch up with. Things We Never Got Over definitely deserves the hype it’s been getting and had me curious about her other series. A lot of them have been getting new covers and makes me want to buy them all!
Jennifer Hartmann
I kind of feel like Jennifer Hartmann is most known for Still Beating (that I haven’t read yet), but the first book I picked up by her was An Optimist’s Guide to Heartbreak. This duet was so emotional and I couldn’t stop reading. So I guess I need to catch up with her other books.
Olivie Blake
I read and loved The Atlas Six and even have The Atlas Paradox ready to read. Along with two other books she’s had published this year. Her writing is something you need to concentrate when reading (Olivie uses big words, haha), but I’m curious to see what I think of the other books.
Kate Canterbary
In a Jam was such a fun small town romance that had me smiling almost the whole time I was reading it. This author had me hooked from the first page. Kate Canterbary seems to have at least 12 more books for me to read.
Ana Huang
After loving Twisted Love, I need to read rest of this series. I saw that she also has another series out there and is working on the Kings of Sin series.
Meghan Quinn
So out of all of these authors, Meghan Quinn isn’t actually a very new to me author. I’ve read quite a few books by Meghan, but she has a huge backlist. I really need to read more! So far I’ve loved all of the books I’ve read from her.

Before I Let Go sure sounds good.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
This is a great idea for a list. Now you’ve got me thinking about authors I want to try for a second time.

Ooohh, I love your list! Great use of the freebie! I have When in Rome and Practice Makes Perfect in my TBR but, if I’m being honest, PMP sounds more interesting to me than WIR so I’m stuck on whether I want to even start it, hahaha.

I’ve not read any of these authors, I’ll have to look some of these up now.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I want to read more Ronald Malfi. I read one of his last month and I can’t wait for more.
It’s always fun to discover new authors to love! I haven’t heard of most of these, but I hope you enjoy exploring their backlists.
Happy TTT!

The cover for The Confidence of Wildflowers is gorgeous! I’ve never heard of it and now I want to check it out. I’ve been wanting to read Lucy Score’s books for a while. Definitely need to get to those soon.

I started Kennedy Ryan’s books with the Grip series. It’s fabulous and I highly recommend it, if you want to read more of hers. It’s still my favorite of hers.
And you can’t go wrong with Sarah Adams’s books. They’re all great.
I binged Kate Canterbary’s books a couple years ago and it was such a treat! You’re in for fun with those 12 books.
I ADORE Meghan Quinn and her books. I started with Stroked and have read every release since. There isn’t one I haven’t enjoyed. I have also read The Mother Road (good) and The Virgin Romance Novelist (okay). Her Jet Girls series wasn’t my thing. I tried one of her oldest sports romances and it wasn’t really either. But anything from Stroked On is amazing.
Here’s my TTT post.
