We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The past few weeks were mostly about getting the last bit of work done before the summer break started. I mostly succeeded haha! Two weeks ago my team had regional championships for the equestrian dressage team, I’m not sure what it’s called, you ride with 4 and basically do synchronised riding. We did a great job and in a month we’ll be competing at the national championship!

My first week of vacation is already over. And of course I already went to a concert haha. Last week I saw Kaleo at the old Royal Palace garden. It was such a cool experience and it was set up really well. We got to eat there first, they had a ton of foodtrucks and then got to listen to some live music before the main event. I loved seeing Kaleo live, they are great musicians! And now that you’re reading this I’m enjoying a week in France at my parents place. So I’m off relaxing and reading ;).

I have one new eARC, I just couldn’t resist The City of Stardust by Georgia Summers. The cover looks great and the synopsis sounded interesting so I just went for it haha. Hopefully the book is as good as I think it might be.

I finished my tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn and I also read Saga vol. 10. Not a lot haha. But I am currently reading Kingdom of Ash and Never a Hero and I hope to finish both in the next day or so. And then I will be reading the books in my bookish item from this past week!

I finished the final season of Never Have I Ever, the first season of Will Trent, I watched season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer,  started The Bear, Secret Invasion, and the final season of Nancy Drew. So I guess I have been watching quite a lot haha.

I’m still listening to Taylor Swift over and over again. First to try and manifest Era Tour tickets and now to be sad and hope that somehow I’m still getting tickets haha.

And that was my Royal Update for this week! I hope to just relax the next 4 to 5 weeks and be ready for the new schoolyear after that. So hopefully a lot of reading and doing creative things! What do you have planned for the rest of the summer? Let me know down below!
