This book will be released in October and I got an eARC through Netgalley. Let’s take a look at the start of the book! Continue reading “Bookish Beginnings on Friday | Mothsblood – Lynn D. Jung”

Review| The Poet Empress – Shen Tao

Fantasy books are something I love, but it’s always intimidating when you know you’re going to be starting another series. That’s why The Poet Empress caught my eye. The story sounded amazing and it’s a standalone. Today I want to tell you all about this book and what I thought.

A big thank you to Netgalley and Bramble/Macmillan Audio for providing me with an ALC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way!

WWW Wednesday #107

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

TTT #420 | Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List. Last week Candyce share her Spring 2026 To Read list and today it’s my turn. I don’t really make TBR’s for myself, but I do like to think about the books I would like to read. So let’s jump in! Continue reading “TTT #420 | Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List Part 2”

Down the TBR Hole #168

After having one less book off of my want to read shelf at the start of my last post, we’re starting where we ended last time! It’s still progress!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | Babel – R.F. Kuang

I have really enjoyed the previous R.F. Kuang books I have read. They are unlike anything else I’ve read and might not be easy to digest, but are nonetheless great. So of course Babel has been on my TBR since it was released. And now I have finally read it! Obviously I wanted to share my thoughts on the book with you all. So let’s jump in! Continue reading “Review | Babel – R.F. Kuang”

Bookish Item | Sequels I Need to Read ASAP Part 2

Last month Candyce shared a couple of sequels she wants to pick up as soon as possible. That inspired me to also take a look at my TBR and start prioritising some sequels. So today I wanted to share which sequels I need to read asap, and hopefully that means reading them this year! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Sequels I Need to Read ASAP Part 2”
