Last month Candyce shared a couple of sequels she wants to pick up as soon as possible. That inspired me to also take a look at my TBR and start prioritising some sequels. So today I wanted to share which sequels I need to read asap, and hopefully that means reading them this year!

Bloodwitch – Susan Dennard

I have said this many times already unfortunately, but I really need to read Bloodwitch. Truthwitch was wonderful and I really enjoy this series. I know I’m going to enjoy this book and I’m happy that I can continue reading the next 2 books after this one as well. Hopefully this year will be the year I pick the Witchlands series back up and I’ll binge it all!

Apprentice to the Villain – Hannah Nicole Maehrer

I really enjoyed Assistant to the Villain, it was so much fun! It was one of the books I read when I was on holiday with 2 coworkers and I kept giggling out loud, so they were entertained by me reading that book haha. The first book ended on a cliffhanger, so I actually thought I would’ve read this one by now.  At least I can also read book 3 after this one and if I wait until this summer, I can also read book 4 haha.

Blessed Monsters – Emily A. Duncan

It’s been a while since I read the first 2 books in this series and I have to admit I have forgotten a lot of the details. Or even some of the bigger plot lines probably. I would like to have finished this series, but I hope I will still enjoy the story without rereading the first 2 books. The world was definitely interesting and I remember being invested in the characters as well.

Record of a Spaceborn Few – Becky Chambers

I have loved everything I have read by Becky Chambers so far! The first book in the Wayfarers series was amazing and after coming around to the fact that we don’t follow all of the same characters I also really enjoyed the second book. I’m sure I will love this one as well and I’m happy I have the fourth book lined up to read right after this one.

These are 4 sequels I would love to read this year. Since I loved the first book(s) in the series above, I think there is a very good chance I will enjoy these books as well.
