WWW Wednesday #46

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

TTT #308 | Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve Their Own Book

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve Their Own Book. I really like this topic but it was so hard to come up with some good answers. While I did my best, I may not have found 10… Let’s take a look! Continue reading “TTT #308 | Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve Their Own Book”

5 On My TBR| Murder

As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is public transport. To be honest, I’m not really sure what to do with this topic. Seeing how we won’t be doing a 5 On MY TBR post next week, I’m going to do that topic which is murder. I have quite a few thrillers/mysteries I want to read, so let’s take a look!

Book Tour| A Prayer for Vengeance – Leanne Schwartz

I don’t know about you, but once we head to autumn I tend to read more fantasy and other darker stories. A Prayer for Vengeance sounds like one that’s perfect for this season. Today is my stop to talk about this book during the tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours! Keep on reading to find out more!

Down the TBR Hole #110

Another start of a Down the TBR Hole without adding any new books to my want to read shelf. I even managed to read a book off of that shelf in the last two weeks!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | Five Dark Fates – Kendare Blake

I didn’t think this day would ever come, but all of a sudden it’s here! Five Dark Fates has been featured in so many lists of books I still had to read for about 4 years now. And when I wrote about it once again this week I decided to not wait any longer and start on the audiobook. 3 days later and I finally finished the book and with it the Three Dark Crowns series! Was it worth the wait? Let’s jump in!

Bookish Item| October TBR

I’ve said it every month this year, but how is another month almost over? This year is flying by. We’re heading into October which mean spooky season starts. Even if I don’t get too spooky, haha.

I don’t always stick to my monthly TBRs except for book club and buddy reads, but it’s still fun to talk about books I’m hoping to get soon. So let’s take a look at my October TBR.

Review | A Court of Thorns And Roses – Sarah J. Maas

I’m doing pretty well with my reread of all of Sarah J. Maas’ books in anticipation of the release of Crescent City #3. After finishing my Throne of Glass reread, it was time to reread the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I hadn’t ever reread those books so it was interesting going back to them. And today I want to share my thoughts on the first one! So let’s jump in. Continue reading “Review | A Court of Thorns And Roses – Sarah J. Maas”
