How is it already October tomorrow? We’re broken records, but this year is really flying by! This time of year is normally pretty packed with new books that sound amazing. So today we want to take a look at some of our most anticipated October releases. Let’s take a look!
Broken Rival – Tessa Bailey (October 6th)
So far Tessa Bailey has only written contemporary romances and Broken Rival seems to be her debut of trying something new. I think we get time traveling? I can’t wait to find out.
Bad Words – Rioghnach Robinson (October 6th)
Since seeing early readers post their reviews about Bad Words, I’ve seen nothing but amazing reviews. I actually want to go into this one blind, but I do have a feeling it’s not the typical romance we tend to get.
The Sixth Faction – Veronica Roth (October 6th)
I’m so curious about this one! Back in the day I loved Divergent and I have made my peace with the ending of the series (or I kind of did haha). To know get a story with an alternative story based on Tris making a different choice is intriguing for sure.
Once, Again, Always – Amanda Gayle (October 6th)
I can’t say the amnesia trope is something I read, but Once, Again, Always sounds like a great time. Can you imagine waking up with no memory of the last six years and finding out you’re married to your former boarding school rival? I really hope this hits me in all the feels.
Victorious – V.E. Schwab (October 6th)
This book has been awaited for so long! I really enjoyed this series and I’m so curious about this third and final book. How will it all end? I already know I will be scared to actually start reading this one.
It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder – Ally Carter (October 13th)
I really like the title for this one! It already sounds like a fun book and knowing Ally Carter wrote it makes me even more excited. I loved the Ally Carter books I read, they were easy and fun reads. This one has childhood enemies to lovers in a Christmas murder mystery, sign me up!
A Christmas Inn, Maine – Aaron Kyte (October 13th)
Having holiday romances on the list of most anticipated releases means that Christmas is right around the corner and that makes me very happy. This MM romance takes place between a book editor trying to save his family’s inn and a contractor! Sounds like the perfect combination for a holiday romance.
Christmas Staycation – Meghan Quinn (October 20th)
Meghan Quinn is one of my all time favorite authors and I love her holiday romances. Fake fiances and accidentally falling for your ex’s brother? Need I say more? Christmas Staycation sounds like a perfect book for this holiday season.
Crash Course – Piper Lawson (October 20th)
I’m always checking out more F1 romances and this is the next upcoming one. The cover is gorgeous and the synopsis sounds like fun. Yes, you can already tell what will happen, but it looks like it could be a fun ride!
With Hearts of Flame – Briar Boleyn (October 20th)
So I may still need to read the third book in the Bloodwing Academy, but I know I’m going to love it as much as the first two books. I can’t believe it’s already the fourth and final book! I’ll never be able to resist a book that takes place at an academy.
The Tarot Trials – Katee Robert (October 20th)
Tarot magic and a deadly competition, that was all I really needed to know. Those words immediately intrigue me haha. This is the start to a new series, so I’m expecting some twists and a good cliffhanger at the end of the book.
A Court of Splintered – Sarah J. Maas (October 27th)
Possibly my most anticipated release of the year! I have been getting ready by rereading all of the books and I am so so excited for this release. Hopefully the book will live up to the extremely high expectations I have haha.
