It’s the first Monday of the month and it means it’s time for us to look back at the books we added to our shelves the year before in Looking Back at Our Bookhauls. We hope to keep ourselves more accountable to actually read what we’re adding to our shelves. Today we’re looking back at out December 2020 bookhaul. Let’s see how we did!
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #105”
Yesterday we talked about the books we got in the last month of 2021. How did we finish out our reading year? We won’t get too much into talking about the whole year, because we’ll be posting a summary of our 2021 reading and goals soon. But first let’s see what we read last month and if we discovered any new favorites!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s 2022 and that’s just nuts. It’s the first of the month which means we want to tell you about our December bookhaul. It was Christmas, so did we get any gifts? Keep on reading to find out!

It’s hard to believe when this post comes online that it’s going to be the last day of the year. 2021 went fast and slow at the same time. Today I want to talk about my January TBR. There are quite a few books I want to fit in next month, so it’ll be interesting to see what I end up reading. So keep on reading to see what I hope to read in January.
The last tag of the year! And I thought it would be fitting to do a New Year’s tag. I found this one at Kristen Kraves Books and happily used it haha. We looked forward to next year in yesterday’s reading goals post and today I will be answering so more questions about 2022. So let’s jump in! Continue reading “Tag | New Year’s Book Tag”
Just a couple more days and we’re in 2022! We say this all the time but this year has flown by. Once we’re actually in 2022 we will be looking back at our reading goals for 2021 but for now it’s time to set some new ones. It’s always fun to think about what we want to achieve in a year. So let’s take a look at what we want to do next year while we talk about our 2022 reading goals. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Reading Goals 2022”
It’s that time again for us to talk about our most anticipated releases for the next month. This time it just happens to be for the first month of the new year: January 2022. January always tends to be extreme with the amount of book releases, so it’s always interesting to see how many end up on our list. Keep on reading to see what books we’re looking forward to releasing next month!
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2022. There will definitely be more than these ten books, but here are some I’m really excited about!
Besides my Netgalley backlist posts I also try and track my physical TBR. That’s not always an easy task. There are so many books I want to read, but just not enough time. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This week’s topic is Planned to Read in 2021. Candyce did that topic last week as well, and today I want to show 5 off the books I planned on reading this year. Since we only have a couple of days left, I’m confident I won’t be reading these in 2021. Hopefully I will read them in 2022! Let’s take a look.
